A bang for the buck in the hay drying industry: owners of LASCO take over HAYTEC

Working together, pooling expertise and driving developments forward.

With these advantages for end customers, the two companies LASCO and HAYTEC explain their decision to join forces in the future.

Shortly before the turn of the year, both companies decided to join forces in the future. The owners of LASCO take over HAYTEC and continue to run it as an independent company and brand for innovative hay and drying technology.

HAYTEC was founded in 2018 and has been working on innovative solutions in drying technology ever since.

LASCO has been a strong partner for innovative drying and hay technology since 1987. Last year, for example, the entire product series of wood chip hot air ovens, which are also used in hay drying, was revolutionarily improved. Another innovation is the thermal imaging camera for the hay crane. This immediately detects and perfectly compensates for any irregularities when filling the hay box.

Franz Schlatte, Managing Director of HAYTEC GmbH, on the merger of the two companies: As our philosophy and strategy in dehumidification technology will be continued and this will continue to be communicated to the end customer through the HAYTEC logo, I am convinced that I have made the absolutely right decision with my team. Together with LASCO, completely different development resources are now available. This means that good hay drying can be improved even further. In 2018, I set out to achieve exactly that.

Franz Schlatte, Herbert Oitner, Kurt Wiedmayr, Klaus Wannenmacher, Andreas Emprechtinger, Johannes Landrichinger and Florian Gollob (from left to right) are looking forward to working together.

The managing directors of LASCO Heutechnik GmbH, Mr. Herbert Oitner and Werner mit Johannes Landrichinger, state: “In 2019, we invested a large part of our operating profit in the further development of our products. We are a very dynamic company and drive innovation with courage. In our company’s history, we have already proven several times that we can make very good use of synergies. In 2012, for example, the Maraton hay crane became the LASCO hay crane.

With the current merger, we are once again taking on the challenge of combining the best of both worlds for our customers.

Moreover, HAYTEC customers need not worry. Existing orders are delivered and commissioned as agreed with the customer.

The Haytec brand will be continued by LASCO and thus remain a symbol of innovative hay technology.
