Broiler and turkey barn heating

Broiler and turkey barn heating

Especially at the beginning of a fattening period, the young animals have an increased need for heat that must be secured. Conventional heating systems such as oil or gas canons that work with open combustion are often used to cover the heat requirement.

Heating broiler and turkey houses with Landritherm

Landritherm hot air heating systems offer decisive advantages over conventional heating systems in broiler and turkey houses. Our wood chip oven series is particularly suitable for this heating task. Fully automated, the appliances supply the required heat. The transport fan integrated in the appliance transports the generated heat to the place of use via insulated warm air hoses.

Recirculated air / fresh air: Mixed air system

It is self-explanatory that heating air that is already 10° to 25° costs less energy than if you start from an initial temperature of 5°c.

On the other hand, there is animal welfare and the associated desire for a healthy oxygen supply. Our mixed air system combines both worlds. For example, fresh air is automatically supplied to the system when the oxygen content falls below a previously defined level. This ensures a pleasant barn climate, is economical and good for animal welfare!
