Demeter farm relies on round bale drying for high forage yield and animal health
High milk yield thanks to very high hay quality and low concentrate use! Alois Hainz runs a farm in Obing in Bavaria with a total of 80 cows. His drying system can dry 54 round bales at the same time.
The round bales have a diameter of 1.80m. The drying technology here consists of two high-performance ventilators and a dehumidifier. In good weather, a 1000m2 roof extraction system provides the necessary drying capacity.
